All About SuperCharge:
Customers on SuperCharge plans will receive a minimum data speed of 1024K/256K and a maximum speed of over 4 Mbits. Speeds vary depending on your location but typically 80% of customers will achieve between 3-4 Mbits.
SuperCharge is available at no additional cost.
For Australian Broadband Guarantee purposes these plans are registered and guaranteed at 1024K/512K
Offer for existing IPSTAR Satellite Customers:
If you already have a service with another IPSTAR service provider, please contact us as we can offer a transfer to our satellite internet services.
Plan Information:
- Peak usage is 12 noon to Midnight. Off-peak usage is Midnight to 12 noon
- Data allowances and fees are based on anniversary date.
- Speed is expressed as kilobits per second (kbps) download/upload.
- By default your connection will be shaped (slowed) to 64K/64K when your data limit is reached with NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES and this shaping will be reset on the next monthly anniversary for the start of the new period. Or if you would like to keep your connection at full speed all the time you can elect to pay for data at an excess rate of 5 cents per megabyte once the data limit is exceeded.
- Data allowance refers to downloaded and uploaded data, subject to an Acceptable Use Policy as defined in our Terms and Conditions.
- You may log into your account to check your data usage at any time. Usage is updated every 15 minutes.
- All plans include 5 Email addresses.
- You may switch between plans without a plan change fee, just the difference in monthly plan costs. (only available as of your monthly anniversary date)
Data Blocks:
A range of Data Blocks which can be purchased once your connection has been shaped or your limit used. Data Blocks reset your connection to full speed if you have been shaped and expire at the end of your usual billing period.

Support:
Friendly staff are available to provide support for your connection should you run into any problems. Our support hours are 8am to 8:30pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm Weekends and Public Holidays (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
Equipment & Installation Warranty:
All equipment supplied for connection to the Satellite Network is covered by a 12 month warranty. This means that if your equipment fails within the first 12 months of installation, repair or replace the equipment is at no cost to you. If necessary a technician will also attend your premises as part of this warranty if its determined that a service call is required, again at no cost to you.
Once the included warranty has expired, you can choose to purchase a further 24 month extended warranty for a once of cost of $180 or pay by the month option of $9.50 per month. We would highly recommend you consider the extended warranty once the included 12 month warranty has expired.
