5. Shipping and Insurance

All orders are shipped via Australia Post with Tracking ID.  Generally orders are despatched within 48hours excluding weekends and Public Holidays.

 

  • Postage Rates: 

o   Standard Parcel Post rate for up to 500g Australia Wide $6.95 includes $100 insurance cover.

o    Standard Parcel Post rate for up to 1kg Australia Wide $9.95 + Extra Insurance option

o    Standard Parcel Post rate for up to 3kg Australia Wide $14.95 + Extra Insurance option

o    Standard Parcel Post rate for up to 5kg Australia Wide $17.95 + Extra Insurance option

         o   Extra Insurance cover is $2.50 per $100 value (e.g. 500g Parcel Post + $300 insurance is $11.95)


o    Express Post rate for up to 500g Australia Wide $11.95 includes $100 insurance cover.

o    Express Post rate for up to 1kg Australia Wide $14.95 + Extra Insurance option

o    Express Post rate for up to 3kg Australia Wide $19.95 + Extra Insurance option

          o    Express Post rate for up to 5kg Australia Wide $24.95 + Extra Insurance option

                  o   Extra Insurance cover is $2.50 per $100 value (e.g. 1kg Express Post + $300 insurance is $19.95)

    

                        Postage on orders over 10kg will be calculated as required.      

                    

  • Insurance:

    Australia Post provide compensation up to $100 on all parcel items to cover if your parcel goes missing, is damaged or stolen whilst in their custody.  If your order is over $100 value and you have not opted for extra insurance on the postage, Australia Post are totally not interested in compensating you for the loss even if its tracking went AWOL in their own system.  For the sake of $2.50 per $100 of cover it’s worth it for peace of mind.  Insurance is also available for EXPRESS POST.   

 

 

5.1 Missing or Damaged Order: 

If your order goes missing or is damaged in the Post?

 

  • We (the sender) have to lodge a claim through Australia Post for compensation for a missing or damaged item.  This can be a lengthy process up to 4 weeks.   Please understand that it is not our fault and the process is totally out of our control.
  • If you did not insure your item you will be out of pocket - please once again understand that this is not our fault.
