6. Returns and Refunds


We will refund or exchange goods as per the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. More information available here: http://www.accc.gov.au/consumers  or  https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au

 

6.1 We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind or ordered the wrong part or the unit you were trying to repair had more faults and our part did not fix its fault.  But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.

 

  • This is when the item:
    • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
    • is unsafe
    • is significantly different from the sample or description
    • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

 

  • You may not be able to get a refund when:
    • You do not have proof that you brought the product from us.
    • You have changed your mind and there is nothing wrong with the product.
    • You bought the product for someone else and they do not want it.
    • You knew the product was broken when you bought it.  For example, you paid less for the product because it was already broken.
    • You broke/damaged the product and it was your fault.

 

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.  Please keep your proof of purchase – e.g. your receipt.

 

6.2 If you have purchased an item that is faulty please lodge a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) form. You will need to log in to your account to do this process which is fairly straight forward and simple. Will contact you to let you know how to proceed about returning the item to us. You can see the progress of your RMA at any time by logging in to your account.

 

6.3 The cost of returning any product to mbRADIO is your responsibility.  It is highly recommended that you return your item using Registered and Insured post. In the event we have made a mistake, the item is not as described, or the product faulty we will refund reasonable return freight costs.


When we receive your returned item, we will verify your issue with it.


  • If there is nothing wrong with it, it will be returned to you and we will only charge you return post and insurance.  Unlike other businesses we have not yet implemented a "NO FAULT FOUND" charge if there is nothing wrong with it.
  • If there is a Fault with it, depending on how long you have had it, we will give you the option of refund or replacement product plus the reasonable shipping you paid to return it to us.
  • We are not here the screw you over on returned faulty items, we just adopt a 100% common sense and logical approach.  If you mucked something up, didn't understand something and sent your item back, that's fine.   Just understand that we will look at it, not charge you for doing so and only ask that you cough up for the return shipping back to yourself.
